Why Outlook CAPTCHA Keeps Looping After Being Solved Automatically (Proxy Issue Explained)

If Microsoft Keeps Asking You to Verify You're Human, It's Usually NOT a Software Problem

One question we receive quite often is:

"PVACreator solved the Outlook CAPTCHA successfully, but Microsoft keeps showing the same verification screen over and over. Why?"

At first glance, it looks like the CAPTCHA wasn't solved correctly.

However, in most cases, the CAPTCHA has already been completed successfully.

The real issue is that Microsoft does not trust the proxy you're using.

What Actually Happens?

The Outlook registration process usually looks like this:

  1. Create account
  2. Fill in account information
  3. Microsoft shows the "Press and Hold" CAPTCHA
  4. PVACreator automatically completes the CAPTCHA
  5. Microsoft should continue to the next step

Normally, that's exactly what happens.

But sometimes the process becomes:

  1. CAPTCHA solved
  2. Microsoft checks your IP reputation
  3. Microsoft decides the connection is risky
  4. Another CAPTCHA appears
  5. The verification loops again

Notice that the loop starts after the CAPTCHA has already been solved.

That means the automation completed its job, but Microsoft's risk detection refused to continue.

Why Does Microsoft Reject the Proxy?

Microsoft evaluates many signals before allowing a new Outlook account to be created.

These may include:

  • IP reputation
  • Previous abuse associated with the IP
  • Datacenter vs. residential proxy
  • IP trust score
  • Registration frequency
  • Browser fingerprint consistency
  • Other risk signals

If the proxy receives a high-risk score, Microsoft may repeatedly request verification instead of allowing registration to continue.

This behavior is controlled by Microsoft's security system—not by PVACreator.

A Real Customer Example

Recently, one of our customers experienced exactly this issue.

The CAPTCHA was automatically completed every time, but Microsoft kept returning to the "Let's prove you're human" screen.

The customer then switched to a different proxy.

After changing only the proxy—without changing any software settings—the Outlook registrations completed successfully.

The customer recorded the entire process, showing that the registrations proceeded normally after the proxy change.

This is something we've seen many times.

How to Confirm It's a Proxy Issue

If you observe these symptoms:

  • ✅ The "Press and Hold" CAPTCHA is completed automatically.
  • ✅ No software errors appear.
  • ✅ Microsoft immediately asks you to verify again.
  • ✅ The process keeps repeating.

Then the first thing you should test is a different proxy.

Many users find that changing the proxy immediately resolves the problem.

What We Recommend

If Outlook CAPTCHA keeps looping:

  • Try a different proxy.
  • Test multiple IPs instead of relying on a single one.
  • Avoid assuming every "premium" proxy will be trusted by Microsoft.
  • Compare results using several different proxy providers or IP pools.

Changing the proxy is often the fastest way to identify whether the issue is caused by Microsoft's risk detection.

Does This Mean PVACreator Failed?

No.

If the CAPTCHA animation completes successfully, it indicates that PVACreator has successfully handled the verification challenge.

The repeated verification occurs because Microsoft performs an additional trust evaluation after the CAPTCHA is solved.

In other words:

CAPTCHA solved ≠ Microsoft trusts the connection.

These are two separate checks.

Final Thoughts

When Outlook CAPTCHA keeps looping, it's easy to assume the automation failed.

In reality, the software may have already completed the CAPTCHA correctly.

The remaining obstacle is often Microsoft's trust assessment of the proxy being used.

If you've confirmed that the CAPTCHA is being solved but Microsoft still won't proceed, testing another proxy should be your first troubleshooting step.

Many of our users have resolved the issue simply by switching to a different proxy.
